True showcase of printing in the Japan of the 1960s and 70s. GAJ is an excellent publication, which joins ground articles (see below) and a great variety of illustrations (silver-gold, in 3D...) and engravings (photo-litho., copper, intaglio, various combinations...). Our favorites in this vol. 18 : the great effect of transparency of a stained glass of Notre Dame of Paris achieved by Sublimate Dyestuff (Kyodo Printing), the superb colors and taste of a lacquered plate of Japanese sweets (Ishida Taiseisha), the slide-like silver stickers, a contrasted watermeloned jack-o-lantern, and beautiful pictures of Japanese landscapes.
