Remarques & avis / Review — Japan still has a few secluded areas, often deep in the mountains, where traditions and people's lifestyle remain unchanged. Such is traditional weaving performed by Japanese women, from cropping, coloring, weaving, to the festivals that follow. A fine photo-reportage thoughout Japan, with fine pictures (especially portraits), as from a distant past, in a well-crafted folio volume. Places: Fukushima, Tohoku (Niigata & Yamagata), Shizuoka, Okinawa, Hyogo.

Lieux : Fukushima, Tohoku (Niigata & Yamagata), Shizuoka, Okinawa, Hyogo.
