Remarques & avis / Review — One shall find here 110 drawings and paintings done by hibakusha, the survivors to the Hiroshima atomic bombing, thirty years earlier (08/06/1945). The initiative came from NHK Hiroshima, which received a few thousand works which, after selection, were displayed in an exhibition at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Hall in 1974-75 and then in Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, and in the present book. Impressive visions of death and despair, and an unvaluable testimony.
On trouvera ici 110 dessins et peintures réalisés par des hibakusha, survivants du bombardement atomique d'Hiroshima, juste trente ans plus tôt (6 août 1945). L'initiative vint de NHK Hiroshima, qui reçut quelques milliers d'œuvres qui, après sélection, donnèrent une exposition au Hiroshima Peace Memorial Hall en 1974-75 et à Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Osaka et Nagoya en suite, et le présent livre. Impressionnantes visions de mort et de désespoir, et précieux témoignage.
