Remarques & avis / Review — The conclusion of the group and magazine Provoke (NAKAHIRA Takuma, TAKANASHI Yutaka, MORIYAMA Daido, TAKI Koji, OKADA Takahiko), in alternate texts (‘Predict’) and photographs (‘Provoke’). A capital piece of work in which is discussed, from the inside, the whole Provoke adventure — a radical and critical counter to established photography and society — as well as the causes for its demise. Mazu is considered as the continuation of the Provoke magazine and features their distinctive bure-boke pictures, mostly previously unpublished in book form. Letterprint changes for each chapter. The group disbanded after the publication of this remarkable final volume. Rather uncommon, particularly in fine condition.
