One hundred (contrarily to what the title states, only 98, apologizes the author ; ) plays are presented (historical context, story, &c.) and superbly illustrated by Sosei KUZUNISHI's numerous photogravured photographs. A special mention for the splendid dj.
Ce très beau volume est consacré au Kyogen, forme ancienne de théâtre comique japonais. Une centaine (contrairement à ce qu'annonce le titre, seulement 98, s'excuse l'auteur ; ) de pièces sont passées en revue (contexte historique, intrigue, &c.), et superbement illustrées par les nombreuses photographies héliogravées de KUZUNISHI Sosei.
