Remarques & avis / Review — Snap portraits of the members of the family of the photographer Toshio YAMADA (1941-2011) in their home in Tochigi in the 1970s-80s: raw, uncompromising pictures of the three generations living under the same roof, everyday scenes and private moments. Opposite the pictures is found a short story (Yokubo) that was previously self-published. Yamada studied under Shomei TOMATSU and was one of the first students of his class in the famous Workshop Shashin Gakko.
