Remarques & avis / Review — Here is another mythical nude photobook, by Nobuyoshi ARAKI, featuring the renowned Japanese actress Tomoko FUJITA (1965-). Just as the book was published, FUJITA sought in court and obtained the withdrawal of all copies from stores and the forbidding of further sale, arguing her nude shots were not supposed to appear in the book in the first place. That sais, the gossip must not occult the fact that Tono Shosetsu is one of ARAKI's most beautiful photobooks — superb pictures, with series both in color and black with a few painted photos, served by a wide range of techniques, lots of humor, laughter and much playing around with erotic clichés, in an very well-printed and crafted, large-sized volume.
Voici un autre livre-photo de nu mythique, par ARAKI Nobuyoshi, qui met en scène la célèbre actrice japonaise FUJITA Tomoko (1965-). Alors que le livre venait d'être publié, FUJITA demanda en tribunal et obtint le retrait du marché de tous les exemplaires, et l'interdiction de vente ultérieure, en arguant l'accord que les photos de nu ne devaient pas être publiées. Ceci dit, la rumeur ne doit pas occulter le fait que Toono Shosetsu est l'un des plus beaux livres d'ARAKI — superbes photos, séries à la fois en couleur et noir avec quelques clichés peints, servies par une grande variété de techniques, beaucoup d'humour, de rire et de jeu avec moults clichés érotiques, dans un volume grand format, très bien imprimé et fini.
