Remarques & avis / Review — The Manno Museum of Art (Manno Bijustukan) used to gather the old Japanese and Asian works of art which were acquired in the post-2WW period by the great art collector Yasuaki MANNO. For the bliss and wonder of the eyes, Kishin SHINOYAMA breaks ties with tradition and shoots these works, dated 1st-19th c., in the wilderness of the mountain villa that MANNO had built for his pleasure. Very rich and colorful shots that skillfully capture the beautiful interaction between the artworks and nature.

Divers / Misc. — The Manno Museum of Art closed in 2004 and its fabulous collection was scattered, partly acquired by other museums.
