Remarques & avis / Review — 'Ohanashi no Takarabako' (The Tale Treasure-Box) is a recent collection, remarkable for its modern and talented illustrators and its fine and strange fairytales in off-beat style and often in Kansai dialect — to the point that one wouldn't think of it as children books!
Here is a beautiful tale by the famous Japanese children's writer Yoshitomo IMAE, of a family moving house, of a little girl and a teddy bear that grows, with very lively illustrations by Hiroshi ABE.

"Ohanashi no Takarabako" (La boite au trésor d'histoires) est une collection récente, remarquable pour ses illustrateurs talentueux au trait moderne et coloré, et pour ses jolies et étranges histoires au ton décalé et souvent en dialecte du Kansai — au point qu'on a parfois du mal à croire qu'on se trouve en présence d'un livre pour enfants !
C'est ici la belle histoire, par le célèbre écrivain japonais de livres pour enfants IMAE Yoshitomo, d'un déménagement, d'une petite fille et d'un ours en peluche qui grandit, avec les très vivantes illustrations d'ABE Hiroshi.

Remarques & avis / Review — 'Ohanashi no Takarabako' (The Tale Treasure-Box) is a recent collection, remarkable for its modern and talented illustrators and its fine and strange fairytales in off-beat style and often in Kansai dialect — to the point that one wouldn't think of it as children books ! Here is a Japanese version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, where the blond girl becomes Chuppu, daughter of the moon. Quite classical version (Chuppu manages to flee) and colorful illustration with strong contrasts — the three bears, quite frightening, are particularly well-done.

"Ohanashi no Takarabako" (La boite au trésor d'histoires) est une collection récente, remarquable pour ses illustrateurs talentueux au trait moderne et coloré, et pour ses jolies et étranges histoires au ton décalé et souvent en dialecte du Kansai — au point qu'on a parfois du mal à croire qu'on se trouve en présence d'un livre pour enfants ! C'est ici une version japonaise de Boucle d'Or et des Trois ours, où la blondinette devient Chuppu, fille de la lune. Version assez classique (Chuppu parvient à s'enfuir) et illustration colorée aux forts contrastes — les trois ours, plutôt impressionnants, sont particulièrement réussis.
