Remarques & avis / Review — A mythical photobook and a great work, starring the famous Japanese actress HIGUCHI Kanako (born in 1958), by the ambitious, renowned and productive Japanese photographer Kishin SHINOYAMA. The first and sought-after opus of the first "accidents" series (cf. also 2 & 3), which shook Japan's photography world for being the first photobook to show pubic hair and not being censored for it. Beautiful pictures of deep black in a well-crafted volume, and an important milestone in the history of Japanese photobooks.
Photobook mythique et réussite certaine, avec en modèle l'actrice japonaise HIGUCHI Kanako (née en 1958), par l'ambitieux, talentueux et productif SHINOYAMA Kishin. Premier opus, couru, de la première série des "accidents" (cf. aussi 2 & 3), qui secoua par ailleurs le monde de la photo au Japon à l'époque — ayant été le premier livre-photo japonais à n'être pas censuré pour avoir montré des poils pubiens. Splendides photos aux noirs profonds dans un volume bien fini, et livre important dans l'histoire du photobook japonais.
