Remarques & avis / Review — Contrarily to what its title may let infer, this issue of the magazine Switch dedicated to Nobuyoshi ARAKI is nothing like a 'Best of' the famous and scandalous Japanese photographer's works, but displays a mass (almost 100 p.) of fine, previously unpublished and original series of photos: photo-reportage along the Tokaido, lively portraits of a young singer, Tokyo streetshots, painted nude photos, paintings even, and portraits of ARAKI by his former assistant, now famous for her own works, Sakiko NOMURA, etc. A fine issue.
Contrairement à ce que laisse supposer son titre, ce numéro du magazine Switch, consacré à ARAKI Nobuyoshi, n'est en rien un "Best Of" des œuvres du célèbre et scandaleux photographe japonais, mais présente une masse (presque 100 p.) de bonnes séries de photos inédites et originales : un photo-reportage le long du Tokaido, portraits vivants d'une jeune chanteuse, photos de rues de Tokyo, photos de nus peintes, des peintures même, et des portraits d'ARAKI par son ancienne assistante, à présent célèbre pour ses propres œuvres, NOMURA Sakiko, etc. Un très bon numéro.
