État / Condition — Good (vertical folding trace on outside frontcover, slightly rubbed on edges).

Remarques & avis / Review — The Pop Art of Masaaki SATO (born in 1941, essay-biography [en] & interview [en]), renowned Japanese artist, is at once recognizable, be it his "Newsstand" or "Hole" series. The present retrospective, published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition in Tokyo, covers these two major periods and thirty years of paintings, engravings, sculptures... An excellent volume, very well-done.

Le Pop Art de Masaaki SATO (né en 1941, essai-biographie [en] & interview [en]), artiste japonais renommé, est immédiatement reconnaissable, que l'on parle de sa série de "kiosque à journaux" ou des "trous". La présente rétrospective, publiée à l'occasion de l'exposition éponyme à Tokyo, couvre ces deux périodes majeures et trente années de peintures, gravures, sculptures... Un étonnant ensemble, très bien réalisé.
