Remarques & avis / Review — An important panorama of 'world' photography (cf. Misc. below) in 1957: Contrarily to what the title suggests, half of the volume is dedicated to Japanese photography and presents, beautifully printed on fine paper, works by the Japanese masters of the time: Ihei KIMURA, Kinsuke SHIMADA, Yonosuke NATORI, Yasuhiro ISHIMOTO, Hiroshi HAMAYA, Yoichi MIDORIKAWA, Shoji UEDA and others; While the international part is largely dedicated to Magnum photographers. An excellent volume.
