Remarques & avis / Review — The bride gives her name to this great photobook by Risaku SUZUKI of a Jewish-American wedding in California — beautiful shots of a forest of oak trees (which reminds of Kumano) and portraits of family and friends, full of colors and poetry, for which he won the prestigious Kimura Ikei Photography Award in 2000.

Remarques & avis / Review — Risaku SUZUKI's Kumano depicts his travel from Tokyo's Imperial Palace to the shrines of the forest and mountain region of Kumano (Kii peninsula, Mie-Nara). The fantastic first photobook of the renowned Japanese photographer, where all the elements of his aesthetics are already present (large color masses and blurred foregrounds) in a beautiful, well-crafted, large-sized volume of excellent full-page photos. Uncommon.

Peu courant.
