Hardcover w/ pict. flaps, b&w frontispiece by Zhou Daoming, color pictures. Index, Captions, Forewords by Zheng Zhusan and Kong Zhong Qi, Biography, in English, Japanese and Chinese. Copy adorned with a splendid calligraphed inscription to a master, depicting an imaginary landscape (paintbrush, black ink) with numerous seals.
Cartonnage à rabats ill., frontispice n&b par Zhou Daoming, illustrations coul. Index, légendes, préfaces par Zheng Zhusan et Kong Zhong Qi, biographie, en anglais, japonais et chinois. Exemplaire portant magnifique envoi calligraphié à un maître, reproduisant un paysage imaginaire (pinceau, encre noire) et multiples sceaux.

Remarques & avis / Review — Jiang Kai Fa (1961-) is a talented Chinese calligrapher and renowned painter who held his first solo exhibition in China in 1983 and in Japan in 1995. Excellent traditional landscapes with scarce, vivid touches of color, in an oversized, well-done volume. Impressively inscribed.
